Tintota Greetings Cards
Cards for any
occasion,
or no particular occasion at all.
These are not e-cards, but paper cards which you can print yourself, and send by mail in the usual way. They are for all occasions. They make a delightful alternative to those expensive commercial cards, for, like everything else on the Tintota Website, they're free!
EXPLANATION AND
INSTRUCTIONS
The Tintota
Greeting Card is basically in two parts:
----> an outer which,
when folded, gives you the outside of the card.
----> an inner
which provides you with an insert on which you can write your personal
greetings.
To use a Tintota Greetings Card:
Go to the card selection page: Outers, and choose the outer you
like. These will be added to regularly.
Click on the thumbnail, and you
will be given an opportunity to download the relevant pdf file.
Use a .pdf reader program to open this file.
(If you haven't got a .pdf reader program, you can download a free one -
FoxitReader -
from the Tintota Downloads Center.)
Print this file on stiff paper or thin card.
You will find that it uses
only half of a sheet of International Standard A4 paper (210 mm x 297 mm)
so
turn the paper around to print a second outer on the other end of the
paper.
Cut in half, to give you two cards.
If using a
different size paper, you will likely only get one card from each
sheet.
In this case, you may need to adjust the printer margin settings to center the picture on the folded paper,
or you could trim the paper to 210 mm wide and set the printer to print to A4 paper.
A little bit of ingenuity will go a long way here!
In either case, fold the separated card in half - with the picture
out.
Obtain an Inner, if you wish,
download it and print as above, on ordinary paper.
Fold so that the text is
inside this time.
Trim 3 mm off the three unfolded edges, and spot
glue it inside the outer.
And there you have it! You can print as many cards as you wish and send them to your friends.
Enjoy!
A suitable envelope for this card is C6 (115 mm x 162 mm).

Have fun!
